The DNS information for the sever cannot be updated because the domain name provider cannot be contacted.

Aparently this is an issue in the version of No-ips Linux dynamic update client that Netgear used. For example, in my case, I am using a delegated subdomain so the string is '-.'. This morning when my WHS2011 woke up I also received the alert message: 'The dynamic DNS information cannot be updated. After working with No-ip to troubleshoot the issue, they had me try adding '-.' to the begining of the url.
